Description:

The primary responsibility of a Family Farm and Home manager trainee is to learn the company’s culture by consistently supporting and strengthening the basic philosophies of the company. Description:

A Hardware Support Technician will provide onsite technical support assistance for our store, warehouse, and office environments by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, and performing PC maintenance, upgrades and configurations. The Hardware Support Technician would be responsible for scheduling technical resources for offsite projects such as, new store installations, existing replacements, and site upgrades. Description:

The receiver at Family Farm and Home is accountable for the verification and processing of incoming/outgoing freight.  The receiver is responsible for inventory accuracy and assisting the store manager in maintaining low shrink.  The receiver will also ensure merchandise is properly and safely loaded and unloaded from trucks.

Requirements:

A successful assistant store manager must demonstrate excellent leadership and problem solving skills. They will be able to manage with limited supervision. Assistant store managers will need to have good oral/written communication skills in order to effectively interact with customers, vendors and other associates.  A successful assistant store manager must understand aggressive customer service and be team-oriented. They must have good management and organizational skills. Additionally, they must be able to understand and interpret data presented in statistical or numerical form and be able to use it effectively in assessing and coordinating the merchandise and operational aspects of store operations in the absence of the store manager.  They need be detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.  Assistant store managers must be able to stand for extended periods of time.  They are able to move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store. They must be able to climb up and down ladders, reach, bend, twist, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.   1. Promote Family Farm and Home mission statement and family values.

  2. Assist in interviewing process for new team members as well as providing training to new cashiers

  3. Monitor and oversee work of cashiers on a day to day basis

  4. Maintain and balance cash control log book, cash drawers, coupon reconciliation and cash over/short log

  5. Responsible for achieving passing scores on corporate store cashiering audits

  6. Maintain cleanliness of the cash office and cash register areas

  7. Communicate with management on unresolved cash discrepancies

  8. Executes daily operational goals and priorities assigned by store management

  9. Greets customers as they enter/exit the store

  10. Issues receipts, refunds, credits or changes due to customers

  11. Ensures that goods are packed and handed to the customers at checkout
